SDA MEETS WITH CLAUDIA WATT & PREMIER CRISAFULLI
In January 2025, SDA member Claudia Watt was rushed to hospital in critical condition after being stabbed while at work in a ‘random attack’ by a teenager. The incident shook retail workers and the public alike, as they witnessed such a random act of violence in their community. Several months later, Claudia is still recovering at home but was able to meet with Queensland Premier, David Crisafulli, and SDA Branch Secretary, Justin Power, to discuss her experience and the legal changes needed as a result.
