Members of the Shop, Distributive and Allied Employees’ Association are advised as required by Regulation 126 of the Fair Work (Registered Organisations) Regulations 2009 that a notice setting out particulars of alteration to National Rules 1A – Definitions; 11 – National Executive; 12 – Constitution of National Executive; 14A – Casual Vacancy in Position of National Officer; 15 – Election of Officers and Executive Members; 15A – Conduct of Election; 16 – Duties and Rights of National President; addition of New Rule 46 – Transitional Rule – to make provision for the creation of Affirmative Action Member positions on National Executive and consequential and transitional amendments to the Rules, has been lodged with the Fair Work Commission.

Members of the Shop, Distributive and Allied Employees’ Association are advised as required by Regulation 126 of the Fair Work (Registered Organisations) Regulations 2009 that a notice setting out particulars of alteration to National Rule 5 – Membership and particulars of alteration to National Rule 36 – Branches – to complement recent amendments to the Shop, Distributive and Allied Employees’ Association South Australian Branch Rules (as to name change) and otherwise clarify responsibility for Branch membership amongst those persons eligible to be enrolled as members of the Association, has been lodged with the Fair Work Commission.
