Who we are

The SDA is the union for workers in retail, warehousing and fast food.

With over 200,000 SDA members in Australia, the SDA is one of the largest unions in the country.

We stand together for a fair deal for retail, warehousing and fast food workers to improve your pay, conditions and safety at work.
From negotiating pay and conditions to free legal advice and support at work, the benefits of being a member of the SDA are huge.

We’re your voice at work.

We make sure you know your rights at work and are on hand to help if something goes wrong.

And the more members we have, the more we can achieve.

The SDA is always working hard to advocate on your behalf whether it’s running cases in the Fair Work Commission, pushing for changes to workplace legislation or resolving issues on the shop floor.
