The SDA met with BWS in November and submitted our Log of Claims for the negotiations for a new BWS Enterprise Agreement.
It is important that workers have a genuine say in their workplace conditions and entitlements and the process of creating a log of claims provides this.
The claims are based off the feedback we received from BWS workers in the SDA Enterprise Bargaining Survey and they aim to improve the conditions and entitlements that our members think are important.
You can view the entire SDA Log of Claims below:
The SDA will be working hard to secure a whole range of improvements to your working conditions including:
- Better wages
- Fairer rostering – for your work/life balance
- More time off with pay
- Your hard-won SDA Union conditions
Next Steps:
The SDA and BWS will begin bargaining meetings in early 2025.
We will continue to keep our members up to date with developments in the bargaining process for the new BWS agreement and welcome any questions about this process.
Being an SDA member means you receive access to important information about your pay and conditions at BWS.
We can help SDA members at BWS to understand their rights at work.
The SDA also works hard to keep you informed about any proposed changes to your entitlements including:
- During negotiations for a new agreement
- Before voting on a new agreement
- Changes to workplace legislation
Whether it’s your roster, breaks or what penalty rates apply – the SDA can provide you with information, support and advice that’s specific to BWS.
SDA members can access important resources and information that’s specific to your workplace.
