In March, SDA Delegates got together for our annual Delegates Day. This was an opportunity for Delegates to get updates on SDA bargaining and efforts being made in the lead up to the annual wage review, as well as our Make Easter Sunday a Public Holiday in Tas campaign, Adult Age = Adult Wage campaign and the ongoing No One Deserves a Serve campaign.
Another key aspect of meetings such as these is the chance for Delegates to share their experiences in the workplace, including concerns around workloads and customer abuse, as well as outlining some tips and tricks to help other Delegates to resolve issues in their workplaces. Many thanks to all our hard-working SDA Delegates who made this meeting such a success.
The second half of the year is shaping up to be another busy one for the SDA, so stay tuned!
