General Secretary - SDA Tasmania

SDA Secretary Joel Tynan joined the SDA over a decade ago.

As an SDA Organiser for 12 years, and with experience in the industry, Joel has worked with SDA members and Delegates, both in Tasmania and across Australia to win workplace campaigns and stand up for SDA members in their workplaces.

Joel has been an integral voice in enterprise bargaining negotiations which have successfully improved penalty, rates, won new rights for casual workers, improved roster rostering conditions and secured hard-won SDA union conditions.
