We are pleased to announce that the proposed ALM/ Food (IGA-D/ Dry/ Perishables) Enterprise Agreement has been approved by the Fair Work Commission.
The Agreement will take effect from Monday, 6 April 2026.
Negotiations were long, intense, and complex, but they were essential in ensuring that the outcome preserves, or improves the hard-won working conditions for all members across both sites.
We sincerely thank all Members for your patience and for supporting your dedicated Delegates, who advocated tirelessly and persuasively throughout the bargaining process.
Key outcomes of the Agreement include:
Wages and Allowances:

An increase of 4.5%, backdated to 28 October 2025 and payable as a lump sum. The company has not yet advised when the lump sum will be paid.

A further 4.5% increase will take effect on 28 October 2026.
The SDA welcomes these increases, particularly in light of the ongoing cost-of-living pressures facing members.
