Education assistance

For over 40 years, the SDA has proudly supported members and their families with the rising cost of education.

As education expenses continue to grow and pop up throughout the year, the Union remains committed to easing the burden. That’s why we’re continuing our long-standing support to help members and their families access the education they deserve.

Education Assistance Payments

Our education assistance payments are worth up to $200, making a significant contribution to the academic needs of our members and their families.

Our education assistance payment structure is as follows:

  • 200 Students from Year 1 to Year 9 will receive education assistance payment of up to $75^
  • 300 Secondary Students will receive education assistance payment of up to $150^
  • 300 Tertiary Students will receive education assistance payment of up to $200^
