“When I was an 18-year-old manager working in retail, although I was completing the same work, I was being paid less than my peers just because of my age. This is just unacceptable, at 18, you are an adult in every sense of the word, except when it comes to being paid.
At 18, I had the same rights as every other person in my workplace, except for how I was being paid. Now as a union Delegate, I see that happening in my workplace every single day. That’s why I support the SDA in its fight for Adult age = Adult wage.“
