“I work like an adult. I think like an adult. I carry the same responsibilities as every other adult around me, but I’m still paid less, just because of my age. Tell me, how is that fair?
At 18, I can vote. I can live on my own, cover rent, buy groceries, and manage expenses. I’m trusted to handle adult life, yet in the workplace, I’m told I’m worth less. That’s not respect. That’s inequality.
Young workers deserve the same pay for the same work. We give our energy, our effort, and our dedication and it’s time our pay reflects that.
Equal work deserves equal pay. No excuses. No exceptions. Being young doesn’t make us any less capable, it just means we’ve got more to prove, and we’re ready to stand up for what’s right.”

Don’t forget, you still have 2 chances to win!
The competition is open until 27 November, with a winner picked each week!
