Congratulations to Georgia, this week’s branch winner in the Adult Age = Adult Wage $100 gift card competition!

“I started working just after I turned 18 and after almost 2 years, I’ll be turning 20. My career thus far has been on a child wage even though I’m out of school and am not studying at Uni or Tafe.
I feel as though I’ve been set at a disadvantage to my coworkers in not being paid the same wage. Trying to save for my future has been made into a slower process and even though I’m working near full time hours I make significantly less than the others I work with who do the same work as me.
I believe the gap in pay is unfair and discriminatory on many levels and believe that an adult wage should start at 18.”

Don’t forget, you still have 3 chances to win!
The competition is open until 27 November, with a winner picked each week!
