Your SDA team

Leanne Mason has been a proud SDA member for several decades and has served on the SDA Committee of Management since 2016.

She first joined the SDA in the 1980s, recognising the vital protection the union provides.

With a lifelong career in the supermarket and retail sector, Leanne has also worked at Coles, Bi-Lo and Big W, and has spent almost the past 20 years working at Woolworths, gaining experience in every area from produce and checkout to office roles.

Alongside her role on the Committee of Management, she is also a workplace Delegate and Health and Safety Representative.

Leanne has been an active advocate for her coworkers, including campaigning to defend weekend and public holiday penalty rates, and to protect retail trading hours.
