Jordan Mumford
Jordan Mumford joined the SDA when he got his first job at McDonald’s when he was 14 years old. Jordan then worked at Coles in the deli for six years.
Working at West Lakes, he supported the SDA’s campaign against the imposition of paid parking – a campaign the SDA later won.
As an SDA Official for seven years, Jordan has represented workers on the shopfloor, worked in Organising and Campaigns to uncover wage theft, improve public holiday rights and introduce stronger laws to protect workers from abuse and assault. As the SDA Chief of Staff, he played an integral role in modernising our services and leading the Organising efforts to deliver new enterprise agreements to hundreds of thousands of workers.
Jordan is a current member of the Australian Council of Trade Unions (ACTU) Executive and is passionate about improving workers’ safety along with advancing the rights of young workers.
