The SDA is about to begin negotiations for a new Enterprise Agreement at Haigh’s, which will set out Haigh’s workers’ pay and conditions at work.

As the union, the SDA bargains on behalf of all workers with the Company and fights to secure the best possible outcomes.

Negotiating a new Agreement is a democratic process and we want to get the views of all Haigh’s workers before we sit down to negotiate.

The SDA is currently surveying all Haigh’s workers to find out what they would like to see changed or improved at work, from pay rises and classifications, to rosters and leave.

Over many years of negotiations, the SDA has secured at Haigh’s:

  • Annual wage increases
  • Better leave provisions
  • Fairer rostering provisions
  • Improved penalty rates

If you work at Haigh’s, this survey is your chance to have your voice heard at the bargaining table and help us fight for better pay and conditions.

Have your say at Haigh’s

Workers’ feedback will be used to form a set of claims (log of claims) to take to the Company.

Once negotiations are finished, Haigh’s workers have the opportunity to vote on whether to accept the proposed Agreement.

Being a member of the SDA is the best way to have your voice heard in negotiations at Haigh’s.
