The SDA has lodged a significant legal action against Sexyland for allegedly underpaying its workforce in South Australia.
The SDA has been investigating a number of issues at Sexyland stores and has uncovered alleged breaches relating to overtime pay, misclassifications and rostering provisions.
At the South Australian Employment Tribunal, the SDA is pursuing thousands in backpay for impacted workers. The SDA estimates that workers could be owed over $50,000 in compensation.
We are also pursuing penalties against Sexyland for these breaches.
