The SDA is in the process of recovering thousands in compensation for former OTR workers in South Australia who were not reimbursed for washing their uniform.

Thanks to a claim by the SDA, all OTR workers will now receive a uniform reimbursement of 50 cents per shift which could amount to an extra $100 per year for some workers.

Being paid a uniform reimbursement is a legal requirement at OTR – but this has not been occurring so the SDA took action.

OTR has also agreed to consider backpaying current and former workers for this entitlement for the past 6 years.

So far, we have recovered close to $37,000 in backpay and expect this to grow.

We encourage all former South Aussie OTR workers to contact us for assistance with making a claim.
