Following extensive negotiations between the SDA Union and Hungry Jack’s, a new Hungry Jack’s Agreement is now ready for workers to consider.

The SDA worked hard throughout negotiations to deliver the best possible outcomes for Hungry Jack’s workers.

The proposed Agreement contains significant improvements – and it’s all because of union members.

Before negotiations began, we spoke to our members to find out what’s important to them and ensure their voices were heard loud and clear at the bargaining table.

The proposed Agreement includes significant benefits:

  • Pay rates above the fast food minimum rates
  • A better classification structure
  • Right to care provisions
  • Improved leave entitlements

This Agreement reflects the strength and unity of union members at Hungry Jack’s.

When workers stand together, we win – and this Agreement proves it.

Being a part of the union is the best way to strengthen the collective voice of workers at the bargaining table and within your workplaces.

All eligible Hungry Jack’s workers will have the opportunity to vote on the proposed Agreement via an electronic ballot from Tuesday 14 October – Monday 27 October.

No new Agreement can be put in place without a majority yes vote by workers.

If there is a majority yes vote, the proposed Agreement will then go to the Fair Work Commission for approval.
