The SDA – the union for Bunnings workers – has commenced negotiations with Bunnings for a new Agreement.
The current Agreement is expiring in August and we’re seeking to negotiate a new Agreement to replace this and lock in improved pay and conditions for the next few years.
As your union, the SDA bargains with the Company on behalf of all workers and fights to secure the best possible outcomes for you.
By standing together for many years, SDA union members at Bunnings have secured better conditions for all Bunnings workers including:
- 4-day work week
- 5 weeks annual leave
- Paid sick leave for casuals
- Improved rostering conditions
- Adult pay rates for 18+ year olds
- Fairer leave entitlements
These were only possible thanks to the SDA.
What is the SDA calling for?
In negotiations for a new Agreement, the SDA is calling for:
- Strong wage increases
- Increases to casual loading
- Improved break entitlements (such as excluding walking time from rest breaks)
- A better process to deal with workload issues
These priorities are based on the feedback of thousands of SDA members at Bunnings.
Securing better pay and conditions at Bunnings is only possible when workers stand together, in their union.
In order to win the best outcomes in negotiations, we need all workers to stand united with the SDA.
Join the SDA now to help us fight for better pay and conditions for Bunnings workers.
