SDA Training Courses for Delegates and HSRs

The SDA provides comprehensive training courses for all SDA Delegates and Health and Safety Reps at no extra cost.
These courses ensure SDA Delegates and HSRs are best prepared to represent, empower and engage with SDA members in your workplace.
They are designed to provide the skills, knowledge and confidence to advocate for better and fairer outcomes in your workplace.

Health and Safety Rep Training

The SDA partners with SA Unions – the premier training provider for worker-focused HSR training - to deliver HSR training for SDA HSRs.

The SDA offers HSR training in partnership with SA Unions for HSRs in retail, fast food and warehousing.
All HSRs and deputy HSRs are entitled to attend approved training during each year of their term of office. You may choose the course and training provider, in consultation with their PCBU.
