Today, the SDA reiterates its call for urgency in legislating pay day super. Payroll, banking and IT systems are ready. Many employers are now paying super on the pay day. Those employers who have not put this place have had 2 years to prepare.
It’s now time for workers to get their super paid by their employers on the day the employer pays their pay. From 1 July 2026, everyday Australians deserve the delivery of the promise that was made to them and supported by big business on Budget night in 2023.
